Quick Graduation Cards

These graduation cards were quick and easy to make.  The congratulations circle is a free digi stamp from Scrap-a-licious-times and the mortar board and diploma are also free digital stamps (source unknown).  The images were colored with Copics and accented with glossy accents.  They were then cut with a circle nestie and mounted onto a scalloped circle nestie.  Tim Holtz bricked embossing folder was used on the white background and the letters were cut out using MFT By the Letters.

If you have never used digital stamps, you should give them a try.  There are tons of free stamps available on-line here: Free Digital Stamps Blog.

Supplies:
Tim Holtz Bricked EF
My Favorite Things By the Letters
Circle and Scalloped Circle Nesties
Digital Stamps: Scrap-a-licious-times and unknown

Another 90th Birthday Card

My neighbor wanted a special card for a friend who was turning 90 so I told her about the 90th card that Carol and I made for our uncle. Without seeing pictures of that card, she requested that we make one for her friend. Since the card was for a female, I decided a quilt pattern would be perfect for the front.

Carol decorated a clear box that a stamp set was packaged in for the envelope for the card.

Supplies:
Paper: K & Company, Bazzill, American Craft, CTMH
Ink: CTMH sunflower, Memento
Stamps: MFT Pure Innocence Caroler (music notes)
Accessories: Cheery Lynn dies, Cricut Plantin Schoolbook, flower punch, Martha Stewart punch, Cuttlebug embossing folder, SU two step bird punch

For more information on assembling this card and the size of the candles, please see the 90 Candles post.
