Stippled Blossoms Sympathy

My sister-in-law's dad died last week and this is the sympathy card I made to send to her. I don't remember what color inks I used because I had these all stamped out quite awhile ago for another project that I ended up not needing them for. The inks are all CTMH. There is glitter on the flower and leaves but it doesn't really show up in the picture.

Supplies used:
Various CTMH Inks
CTMH Grey Flannel paper
SU Stippled Blossoms
SU Tulip Frame Embossing Folder
Taylored Expressions Care & Comfort II

Christmas Cards

These are the cards I made for the 2014 Christmas Card Round Robin at The Embellished Scrapbook Boutique.  For those who aren't familiar with how a round robin works, we make up card kits and set up stations around the classroom.  Customers come in and go from station to station making as many cards of each kit as they would like.  They supply their own adhesive, glue pen, pop dots and scissors; we supply everything else needed to complete the cards.  This is a great way for customers to learn new techniques and use products they have never tried before.  It's also a great way for the to make a variety of cards.  Earlier in the year we hold an All Occasion Card Round Robin.

Advent Boxes

We made these Advent boxes a few years ago for Cheryl's daughters.  They are now 17 and 11 and still love them.

Box 1 Top
Box 1 Side 1

The drawers were all handmade from cardstock.  We found the directions on the internet.  If we had it to do all over again, we would have made the drawers big enough to hold a gift card.  These are just a bit too small.

Box 1 side 2
Box 1 side 3
Box 1 side 4

Because of the dimensions of the drawers, we had to make 2 different sizes in order for them to fit together with no gaps.  Sides 1 and 3 are the same size and a bit smaller than sides 2 and 4.  I don't know how we ever figured out how to get this to come together, but it took FOREVER to get it just right.  The reason the numbers on each side are not continuous (i.e. going from 6 down to 1) is because of the different sizes.  We didn't want them to have six days of bigger gifts then six days of smaller gifts.  This way, they have three bigger then three smaller.

Box 2 Top
The top and bottom of the boxes are chipboard covered in cardstock.

Box 2 side 4
The boxes of drawers as well as the top and bottom are held to each other with red line tape.  We used various papers, dies and punches to decorate the boxes and added the little wood knobs to the drawers.

There are various ways to make Advent boxes.  Splitcoaststampers has a lot of ideas in their GALLERY.
